UCBR Winter Concert 2025....
Our Minister of Music and pianist, Dr. Nana Shi, and the UCBR Choir are happy to present this year's Winter Concert on December 14, 2025, at 3 p.m. This year's concert celebrates the anniversaries of two of the most influential composers of all times, Italian composer Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and French composer Maurice Ravel. It also features the NYC based string quartet, Momenta Quartet, who will be playing alongside Union Church of Bay Ridge Choir. The program includes Palestrina's famous motet, O Magnum Mysterium, Ravel's String Quartet and folk songs, as well as music by American composer Morton Lauridsen and Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, who is turning 90 this year. No admission cost but a free-will offering of $20 is suggested for 13 and over.
